This place has everything you want. The view, the food, and the service. Since we had dinner at the restaurant, we could go out on the edge deck for free. The views are breathtaking. When we got seated, we got a really nice window seat since we booked that in advance. They have a prefix menu for dinner, and it was amazing. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and they gave a good portion. We started with an amuse bouch to wake up our pallet. It was a bite of hamachi. Then we got drinks. We had the cosmo colada and bees knees. Both we flavorful and we had 2 rounds of them. For the apps, we got the tuna and Scallops. The tuna was the standout for me. Then, for the mains, we had the lobster and the pork chop special. The pork chop was the winner here. We ended with dessert and had the signature egg and chocolate hazelnut cake. The egg was the best. Overall, I will always make this a stop from now on.

This was the most spectacular restaurant I've ever been to. Interesting that the menu is different depending on where you are seated. We had the corner window seat with the best view of both midtown and downtown, and thus had a fixed 3-course dinner. Man it was pricey. For 2 people it ran $400+ with coffee and milk bread, no other drinks. But, I'd do it again for the vibes and views for sure. It was amazing. Service was impressive and staff well trained. Also get complimentary access to the edge and can come and go as you please. Highly recommend

Nice ambience but I didn't like their menu. There were that many wine options. It's nice to visit with friends with a nice view but the options are limited.

Oh Peak... How to describe Joy, happiness, excellence and singularity in words that goes way beyond the expression thought writing? Peak has become a symbol of New York, A restaurant on the 101st floor with cinematic and outstanding view from the skyline of New York and New Jersey, a place where it doest matter if you go for one drink alone or for a full mean with friends, peak will always be there for you. I remember the first time I walked there; June 2022, a beautiful sunny day, what I didn't expect is that Peak would become part of my history, part of who I am, part of my life in the city. What makes Peak great is not the instagram view, or the meticulous food preparation and a-presentation, of course, those things by itself add an extra layer of creativity, quality and excellence at the job is proposed over there, but again, what makes Peak the jewel of Manhattan, the princess in the tower is the people that work there! I couldn't start this without the first person that I have ever met there, Michael the Maître D'! Michael is that person that no matter what, will always greet you with a smile, even on the grayest of the days, he's there waiting to assist on every single need you might have. Humble and simple, this gives a new meaning to the expression "Fine Dining", the famous "less is always more"; The attention to the details, the conversation, the simplicity of such a great person, makes the first approach to Peak already an outstanding experience, Michael definitely is one of a kind and I am glad I get to see him every time that I go. But this is just one part of their team; I can't write a review from my favorite place without giving credits to the others that makes this magnificent dinning in the skies work flawlessly. Philip is one of the managers the runs Peak. A German young guy full of energy and Iger to make you feel like home, yes, they're not there to count you as just one more person to sit at their chairs, they are there to make you feel like home, and Philip elevate this experience to the highest level possible, extremely professional and friendly, he is the one that even if you said the experience was 100%, he will make sure that you leave there feeling like 200%! If you are sitting at the the Lounge, Seattle will be the most beautiful, eloquent and professional woman that you can find over there; Server is a word that I don't digest well, it gives me a different perception of a human, they are not there to serve us, they are there to assist us in the process of decide what type of experience I want to have, she is there to guide us thought the process of decision with great human touch, a beautiful smile and a warmth heart, Seattle is one of a kind in that place that treat so well everyone. The dining experience at Peak is a must try, either if you go every week or just once, you can't visit New York without visit Peak. The food options is for everyone, they always make sure your needs are well received and right, despite me loving all the items that they have on the menu, the start for me will always be The Egg desert! I will not give any hints on what it is, you'll have to go see by yourself, but is unlike anything that you ever tried. If you are like me, someone that loves sitting at the bar, Peak will not let you go unnoticed, the bar is gorgeous, and again, the service makes everything goes beyond imaginable. Paul, Jake and Cris are the most lovely and caring bartenders in the whole city, they always make my stay there the best one possible in the most different ways every time! All of that under Jules management, another great human that works at Peak. Jules is one of the bar managers, a unique guy (always wearing the most amazing pair of sunglasses) also part of this Peak way of work, will be willing to assist you on everything you need. Peak is my favorite place, I go every week and every week is a different experience, this is a thank you for all of you that always took and take great care of me and whoever friend I bring with me. I couldn't be any happier that I am to found this place and be so well treated. I'm looking forward to be back and see you guys again! Lots of love, Henrry Lacsko.

What a beautiful view while you are eating some delicious food! The place feels modern and perfect to enjoy with cocktails. You truly are above the city. As for food, it was all pretty good. Milk bread is super delicious with its golden brown tops and soft fluffiness. Get this. Yuzu tart could use a bit more yuzu flavor. Colada is quite delicious and it's so fitting to order drinks given the vibe of the restaurant. The service was quite friendly. The view from the lounge is very nice and the elevator up is an experience! Highly recommend.

Getting a reservation for an evening dinner at Peak is very difficult if short notice so booked a 12pm lunch reservation for Sunday May 26 a couple of days before checking the weather before finalizing the reservation to be sure the skies would be clear and no rain. Peak and The Edge are in the same building at 30 Hudson Yards. You enter the west door, off 33rd, and take the elevator to Floor 5 where you check in for Peak. A little confusing since the restaurant is located on the 101st floor but immediately after we were guided through a door to wait for the elevator with a few others that checked in for Peak. It was like a Fast Pass. We were ushered into the elevator and once in were joined by folks waiting in line for The Edge. Peak customers enjoyed a special privilege to skip the line. The ride up was entertaining with a digital panoramic movie as you climbed the 96 floors to 101. We checked in on 101 and were immediately brought to our 2 Top on the south facing window wall. What a view! Don't look down! Restaurant ambiance was buzzing, service was prompt and professional, and you can't beat the view! We started with a Cocktail. I had the Hudson Yards House Old Fashioned. and she had the Upper Eastside (Gin, Lime, Cucumber, Mint and Champagne). Both were delicious. If you have time and can handle it, strongly recommend the "Say When' Manhattan. Literally they pour in a tall glass until you say 'When' so almost 3 drinks (maybe 4) for the price of 2. We both opted for 1 drink each. The lunch menu is either a 2 course or 3 course Prix Fixe for $75 and $95 respectively. Some add ons (see the menu). Our appetizer choices were a Chicory Salad for each and entrees were Roasted Chicken and Italian Eggplant. The Black Hawk Brisket Burger looked outstanding but did not want to manage a double decker burger at noon on a Sunday so took the lighter road. I was not a fan of the salad as the leafs were cooked. Had I known, I would not have ordered as the only cooked leaf I like is spinach. Our waitress sensed that and was so kind to take it back and allow me to order something else. I ordered the Beef Tartare. Both were well presented, delivered timely, and very enjoyable for an appetizer. We finished our drinks and our entrees were served. The Roast Chicken was about a one half Chicken Breast served with Kale Pesto. The chicken was very tender, not dry, and the skin was crispy. Very good choice. The Italian Eggplant was one half a baby eggplant with Red Quinoa, Pomegranate, and Pin Nuts. The eggplant was also topped with some Fried Chick Peas. The Pomegranate offered an interesting appearance and texture to each bite but the Chick Peas were basically a little crunch and no flavor. All in all a very wonderful lunch and we skipped the dessert options making The Edge our dessert. Important note: When you visit Peak you automatically have a pass for The Edge and need only, when leaving, go down a set of stairs to enter The Edge. Again, another cool perk and considering the admission for The Edge alone, the Lunch deal makes it that much enjoyable. When done, you do not wait in line for the elevator. You wait by the elevator and are ushered in to the first available elevator. Make your reservation in advance. You can request a table by a window as we did and we were happy to get it. The Bar alone is worth the visit if you can get in. We plan to go back as everything from our experience was top notch and enjoyable! (Next time I will order the Burger!)

If you're going to the Edge, this really seems like the way to do it. With the restaurant comes free access to the observatory. You'll enter from the 5th floor of Hudson Yards, where you'll go through a bar/waiting area. Once you check in with your reservation (I believe you must make a reservation) they'll take you through a back-entrance to the elevators (those who buy a direct ticket to the Edge will usually wait in a long line to get to the elevators). The elevators have a short presentation on the walls as you go up, then you're spit out at the observatory - the restaurant is to the left when you exit, the observatory is directly ahead. I recommend coming early to the restaurant so you can spend time at the observatory before you eat. The observatory itself includes 1) a few bars where you can purchase snacks/drinks, 2) an outdoor area including a section with glass floors so you can see below, and 3) a set of stairs in the outdoor area where you can get an elevated view of the skyline without being obstructed by the glass walls. The observatory itself spans 2 floors (the Peak restaurant is on the 2nd floor). During the winter they set up a synthetic ice, ice rink here. The view is stunning from anywhere in the restaurant, I believe if you want to sit by the window you have to pay a prix fixe but that's not necessary. The regular menu entrees span from ~$30-60. High end type dishes with portions on the smaller side, french-style sauces and presentation. I don't think anything is quite all that much to write home about but largely things are delicious. Milk Bread $11 a loaf of white bread with salt on top and a butter, also salted. I think it was a tad too salty Rohan Duck $56 decent, served with a yucca gratin that was lovely. a hint of sweetness in the sauce that I didn't care for. fine duck. Eggplant $36 chickpeas, quinoa, pomegranate (strangely), cooked well. Lobster $64 rather bland, not worth the price idt

Awesome ambiance and nice opportunity to go to the edge viewing. You come for the view not the food... Service was phenomenal - always people helping to pour your water and check in on you. Oddly as I was trying to look at my menu a staff pushed my menu in my hand out of the way to pour the water without asking me to move the menu which was little rude. Aside from that everyone was very polite and attentive Biggest downside was the bathroom situation. There's only 2 total for both genders and 2 additional ones for the edge; however, it usually results in a line. Milk bread - would pass on this, it's only okay. Nothing unique. Had much better Chicken liver mousse (for milk bread) - unique and definitely holds that liver flavor - they give a lot, but I preferred just the butter more Halibut - waiters recommendation, has multiple seafood components from the fish itself that was cooked very well, a lobster sauce, and crab pieces under the fish. Triple seafood opportunity. Portions not huge but it was well cooked Specialty dessert - tasty, the ice cream was like a sorbet, the chocolate had a cake inside but a hard shell outside, it wasn't bad but also not extraordinary Service 4.5/5 (would be 5/5 if not one staffer) Food: 3/5 (mediocre for price point; nothing really stood out) Ambiance: 5/5 (great view, nice modern inside layout) Restaurant 3/5 but with the edge bonus 4/5 (separate line to the top and down which saves a lot of time)
